Terms of Service

Last updated: April 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Amppler platform. By creating an account or using Amppler, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Platform Overview

Amppler connects local users ("Users") with businesses that host digital advertising screens ("Hosts"). Amppler facilitates bookings, payment processing, and ad delivery but is not a party to the advertising relationship between Users and Hosts.

2. User Responsibilities

  • Users are solely responsible for the content of their ads.
  • All ads must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Users must ensure their billing information is accurate and up to date.
  • Users agree to a monthly recurring subscription for booked screen slots.
  • Cancellations require 30 days notice. Charges already billed are non-refundable.

3. Ad Approval Process

All ads are reviewed by Amppler before going live. We typically review submissions within 1–2 business days. Approved ads begin displaying immediately. Rejected ads receive a written reason and may be resubmitted after revision. Amppler reserves the right to reject or remove any ad at its sole discretion.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on Amppler screens:

  • Sexually explicit or adult content of any kind.
  • Content promoting illegal activities, drugs, or weapons.
  • Misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent advertising.
  • Political campaign advertising or partisan content.
  • Content that harasses, defames, or discriminates against any person or group.
  • Competitor advertising targeting another business by name.
  • Flashing or strobe content that may trigger photosensitive conditions.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal of your ad and termination of your account without refund.

5. Host Responsibilities

  • Hosts must keep their Amppler screen powered on and connected to the internet during business hours.
  • Hosts must not obstruct or alter the display in any way that prevents ads from showing correctly.
  • Hosts must notify Amppler promptly if their screen is damaged or goes offline.
  • Hosts agree to the 80/20 revenue split: Hosts receive 20% of monthly ad revenue from their screen. If the screen was referred by a partner, an additional portion goes to that partner per their commission agreement.
  • Hosts must maintain a valid Stripe connected account to receive payouts.

6. Payment Terms

  • Advertising fees are charged monthly on the subscription anniversary date via Stripe.
  • Host payouts are issued automatically following successful user payment.
  • Failed payments trigger a grace period of up to 30 days. Accounts more than 30 days past due are automatically cancelled.
  • Amppler reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days written notice.

7. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of their ads. By submitting a ad, you grant Amppler a non-exclusive license to display it on the booked screens for the duration of the subscription. Amppler owns all rights to the platform, branding, and software.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate their account at any time. Amppler may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms. Upon termination, active ad slots are released and no further charges are made. Pending payouts to Hosts will be fulfilled for revenue already collected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amppler is not liable for: loss of revenue due to screen downtime, ad rejection, technical failures, or user cancellations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid to us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any specific advertising results, impressions, or click-through rates. Actual audience numbers are estimates based on host-provided data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Canadian County, Oklahoma.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes by email.
